Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 April 2026
WebEveryone ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
1. Information We Collect
Account data: If you register, we store your name, email address, and a bcrypt-hashed password. We never store plaintext passwords.
Tool usage logs: When you use a tool we record the tool name, your IP address and (if logged in) your user ID. We do not log the URLs you check or the results returned to you.
Session data: We use a server-side session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie expires after 7 days or when you log out.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use account data solely to authenticate you and personalise your dashboard. Tool usage data is used only in aggregate to understand which tools are most popular. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.
3. Cookies
We use one cookie: a session cookie named we_session. It contains no personal data — only a random session identifier. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are placed by WebEveryone.
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained until you request deletion. Tool logs are retained for up to 90 days for statistical analysis, then purged automatically.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@webeveryone.com. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Security
We use HTTPS, bcrypt password hashing, CSRF tokens and parameterised database queries to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we follow industry best practices.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted with a revised "last updated" date at the top of this page.
